Between July 2023 and February 2024, PRACSIS and EURACSIS organized promotional events in 18 Member States (Sweden, France, Malta, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Bulgaria, Romania, Finland, Lithuania, Cyprus, Slovenia, Austria, Slovakia, Czechia, Poland, Estonia and Italy). With EIB representatives present at every event, we highlighted the opportunities offered by the EIB’s ELENA grant program. Each event was organized with the contribution of local EURACSIS partners.
PRACSIS and all the EURACSIS agencies worked together to promote the CASP activities across the 27 EU Member States.
CASP (Coordinated Activities for the Safety of Products) is an initiative of the European Commission’s DG for Justice and Consumers and the associated contract is managed by an EY – PRACSIS consortium.
A CASP virtual event was organized in July 2020 with a “physical” component taking place in Brussels.
This event presented the achievements of CASP 2019 to EU press and citizens, namely the results of the cooperation between the EU Market Surveillance Authorities from the different Member States and the results of the lab testing of several product categories.
Tested products ranged from soft-filled toys, batteries, and chargers to electric bicycles and scooters.
The joint efforts of the EURACSIS network resulted in more than 300 articles and mentions in medias and social medias in the EU, including those of representative stakeholders like consumers associations.
On 5 and 6 February 2018—just four days after its event in Bucharest—PRACSIS was in Sofia to organise the 21st European Forum on Eco-innovation. This edition of the two-day EU conference focused on solutions for improving air quality and was held at the Sofia Science and Technology Park in the John Atanasoff building (named for the American physicist of Bulgarian decent who is credited with inventing the first electronic digital computer). The conference was made possible with the assistance of Sofia-based EURACSIS firm Media Basket. With high-level speakers such as Bulgarian Minister for Environment Nino Dimov and EU Director-General for Environment Daniel Calleja, the forum set an attendance record with over 500 people!
With the help of EURACSIS agency Propaganda Consulting, PRACSIS organised its seventh public event for Sustainable Energy Investment Forums, the European Commission programme that aims to boost financing for energy efficiency in EU member states. The event took place on 01 February 2018 in Bucharest and was organised by the European Commission’s DG Energy and EASME in partnership with
The event had more than 40 speakers—including Romanian Minister for Energy Anton ANTON (pictured, right) and state secretary Mihaela Virginia TOADER (pictured, left)—and was attended by 200 people, with plenaries as well as smaller breakout sessions for more in depth discussion. Around twenty Romanian media outlets—print, TV, and radio—covered the event.
PRACSIS and PR Concept (EURACSIS’s Estonian agency) joined forces in Tallinn to organize the second edition of the Circular Procurement Congress, hosted by the Estonian Presidency of the EU, the European Commission’s Directorate-General for the Environment, Rijkswaterstaat of the Netherlands, and ICLEI. The event took place almost one year since PRACSIS and PR Concept last combined their efforts for the 20th European Forum on Eco-innovation in Tallinn.
